Welcome!

President's Message
By the time you read this message, our annual fundraiser will be only a few weeks away. I hope that every one of you is coming; we need your support and your money to allow us (your board) to carry on the missions we have developed to protect hunting and hunters, to feed the hungry, and to get children and young people into hunting and the shooting sports.
“Terry, how can I help?” Easy answer: buy a hunt or fishing trip or other item from our live auction.
Let’s be honest. Almost all of us will be going on a hunting or fishing trip this year and you will be paying someone for that trip. Buy your hunt or trip through the chapter’s live auction and not only enjoy a top notch outfit, but revel in the knowledge you helped with our chapter’s mission.
There is a partial list of items that will be on the auction list in this newsletter. Additional items will be added up to the date of the auction; therefore, please check our Auction page on this website daily.
The banquet and main live auction will be Saturday, March 15, 2008. The auction booklet for Saturday will be available at Outfitters’ Night, Friday, March 14.
There will be a full agenda Friday night with outfitters, taxidermy, silent auction, live auction, chapter awards and presentations from outfitters, as well as fabulous food – a lot of fun, guaranteed!
Now, if for some reason, you cannot find anything to buy at auction (either night), you can still help the cause. Ron Lanford has developed the general raffle table with $10,000 worth of guns, scopes, binoculars, and all kinds of other hunting needs. Buy a $400 packet of tickets and you not only may win, but you will be helping our mission.
See you all there!
Shoot Straight,
